Las Vegas, Nevada is an internationally known vacation, shopping, entertainment, and gambling destination, a perfect travel destination for those who wish to have fun enjoying a variety of the area's activities and attractions and perhaps try their luck at one of the casinos.

When one refers to Vegas, one often associates it to the resort areas on and near the Las Vegas Strip. This 4½ mi stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard is mostly outside the Las Vegas city limits.

As the center of gambling in the United States, Las Vegas is marketed as The Entertainment Capital of the World due to the popularity of legalized gambling, availability of alcoholic beverages at any time, and various forms and degrees of adult entertainment. The city has also been a popular setting for films and television programs.

Major attractions in Vegas include several resorts, casinos, and shopping areas. A few of the city's attractions include Golden Nugget Las Vegas (maintaining AAA's four diamond rating for the past 29 years), Queens Hotel and Casino (located in downtown Las Vegas, home to the largest slot machine, the Queen's machine), Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel, Fremont Hotel & Casino (where many scenes from the movie Swingers were filmed), Plaza Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas Club, Fitzgeralds Las Vegas, and Golden Gate Hotel and Casino (which appeared in the film Honey, I Blew Up the Kid).

There is so much to see and do in Vegas, the Sin City, the Vice City, with many hotel and casinos, restaurants, clubs, and more.
