From the historic sites in Philadelphia to the Amish traditions in Lancaster Country, there are literally hundreds of different things to do in Pennsylvania. Whether you wish to see where the Founding Fathers sat, or you want to sample over a dozen different kinds of candy, Pennsylvania has an activity perfectly suited to you.

Knoebels is America?s largest free admission park. This means that your entire family can spend a day having a fabulous time for a relatively cheap price. With family rides, kiddie rides, and of course, the thrill rides, there is something for everyone at Knoebels. Inside the complex there is even a swimming center that features waterslides and diving boards, among other things. There are several concession stands set up throughout the park and there is even room to pitch a tent and camp out.

When people think of Pennsylvania, those who love chocolate will immediately conjure up images of Hershey Park and all that it entails. Here you can enjoy water rides, roller coasters, and even family rides. After you are through with your theme park thrill rides, check out some of the amazing eateries located inside the park. Here you can purchase a Reese?s Peanut Butter Cup, or even dine with the character at dinner. You could also enjoy a show in the amphitheatre or stop and take in one of the bands that walk around the park.

One of the most interesting museums in Pennsylvania is most definitely the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. Here you will be able to ride a working trolley while learning about the impact that this form of transportation had on America. Your tour will take you through the car house where you can view various historic trolleys, on a four mile ride through the countryside, and finally to the Visitor?s Center. Here you will be able to watch a movie about the trolley and browse the Museum Store for memorabilia of all kinds.

Another thing that comes to mind when you think of Pennsylvania are the Pennsylvania Dutch. Primarily located in Lancaster County, the Amish have become an integral part of the community there. Curiosity has led to the advent of several museums and attractions to help educate the public about the Amish community. One of these attractions is the Amish Farm and House. Here you will visit a working 25 acre farm. You will be able to see how the land is farmed and visit the animals that help accomplish the task. Then take a tour of the house and see how the Amish live. Visit the kitchen and learn some of the recipes that the Amish are famous for.

There you have it folks, some of the best attractions in Pennsylvania. While there are dozens more like: zoos, aquariums, museums, theme parks, and historical attractions, I have named only a few. To truly experience what Pennsylvania has to offer, you may just have to travel there yourself.
